What distinguishes KWE from other English providers?

Highly qualified experienced staff, most have TESOL qualifications and teaching experience, certified speech therapist, early childhood specialist, business professional specialists; our staff see this as a calling not a mere job, we love working with international people.

Where are classes held?

In the KWE office, ELL’s homes or Dow office/ huddle rooms

What is the procedure for enrolling?

1. Contact Sandy about your interest

2. Set up first interview to get acquainted and discuss English goals

3. Testing and evaluation

4. Arrange schedule with assigned tutor

5. Select curriculum with tutor

6. Begin classes

How is private pay determined?

We charge on a sliding scale determined by the individual’s salary. We do not want anyone to miss out on English training because of low income. We work with them to  provide a way.

What English curriculum and teaching methods do you use?

Each trainer has their own English exercises and stlye, using various types of texts, audio/visual, computer, power point, role plays/ games and activities/ songs and music , field trips. Conversation and discussions,  etc.

What modern languages do you offer?

French, Spanish, German, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Urdu.

My child has trouble with Algebra/ Geometry. Can you help him\her?

Yes ,we have an experienced math tutor on staff… Contact us

My child has dyslexia. Can you help him/her?

Yes, we have an Orton Gillingham  tutor available… Contact us.

Do you have anything for advanced level people who like to read?

Yes, we offer a book club one morning a week.

Attendees read and discuss a popular book together.

What other test preparation courses do you offer?
