Karen Indehar and two Thai tutors. Karen Indehar was born in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. and moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.A. as a teenager. She graduated from the University of Minnesota, U.S.A. with a B.S. degree in Home Economics and Business. She has a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate from Cebu Graduate School of Theology, Cebu, Philippines. Before coming to Bangkok in 2005, she was a home-school mother

Karen employs two native Thai helpers.

Noy has been Karen’s primary Thai tutor and cultural informant since 2006.
This gifted teacher is a motorcycle taxi driver during the day and then
tutors at night and on weekends. He has 4 private students and continues to
advise and coach Karen in Thai language. Noy speaks 3 separate languages and
3 dialects of Thai with fluency.

Gong has a BA in English and is employed teaching basic English to Thai
people.
